Doing Good Together

One of Nathan Fitts & Team’s favorite things about Blue Ridge, aside from its natural beauty, is the small-town feel. We delight in seeing the community come together and work for a worthy cause.

We would like to direct your attention to the wonderful organization, “Feed Fannin.” Feed Fannin is a volunteer group that unites community members while providing food for those in need. They manage a community garden located on Ada Street, which provides space for residents to grow produce. Their members provide over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce to the Family Connection Food Pantry! “Feed Fannin” also aids in providing volunteers and a variety of donations to The Food Pantry, which is part of Family Connections Shelter.

The Food Pantry needs change daily, but all donations are gladly accepted. A short list of items that are needed regularly include: canned meat, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed dinners, juice, pasta, dried beans, rice, cereals,

This Saturday, March 10, Feed Fannin is hosting “Bowls of Hope” at Willow Creek Falls in Blue Ridge to raise awareness and funds to fill the bowls of the hungry in Fannin County.  Sample delicious soups, breads, and desserts from local restaurants & enjoy local musicians.
