Game day is right around the corner. North Georgia’s #1 Real Estate Team is ready for Super Bowl 52, and we want to make sure you are, too, so we are here to share a few tips on how to get your home ready for the ultimate Super Bowl Party, as well as a quick new game day recipe!
All eyes will be glued to the screen, so the first step to getting your home “game day ready” is to clean the TV screen and speakers, and, with the television being the focal point, make sure all seats in the room are pointed in that direction. The next step is to protect your home – accidents happen, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared. We recommend putting the breakables away for the evening and having cleaning supplies ready. You never know when someone may have a spill! And speaking of clean-up, begin with the end in mind. When you choose your game-day décor, think disposable. Party stores have an abundance of Super Bowl party décor & football decorations, so that part is easy, but we also recommend disposable plastic tablecloths and paperware. When the party is over, you pull up the sides, and throw it all away. A quick wipe down & vacuum, and you are ready for Monday morning!
A casual potluck party is the way to go, and we’ve got a new game day recipe for you: Jalapeno Popper Crisps!
Ingredients:
- Finely shredded Parmesan
- Shredded cheddar
- Thinly sliced jalapenos
- Bacon
- Freshly ground black pepper
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Spoon a tablespoon of Parmesan into a small mound on the parchment paper. Top with ½ tablespoon of cheddar. Carefully pat cheese flat and place jalapeno slice on top. Sprinkle with bacon and a dash of pepper over each mound. Bake approximately 12 minutes until golden crispy.
Step 3: Slightly cool and transfer to serving dish. Serve at room temperature.
