Home Staging

Partner with Nathan Fitts & Team to stage your home and sell it fast! According to the Real Estate Staging Association, homes that are staged before going on the market sell 73% faster, on average, than their non-staged counterparts. All of our staging is done in house by team members that have an eye for style, a knack for arranging, and a solid understanding of what buyers like to see.

Why Stage?

It is common for a staged home to sell for 6% above the asking price. Why? Because buyers spend more time in a staged home than a vacant home. The longer they stay in the house, the more opportunity for them to get emotionally attached to the space. The more attached they are, the more they are willing to pay.

What’s Your Investment?

The cost of having a home staged will vary depending on the size of the home, the quantity of rooms being staged, and the extent of the work needed. A National Association of Realtors survey revealed that a 1-3% investment on home staging will bring you an 8-10% return.

The Top Three

The three most important rooms to have staged are the main living areas – Living Room, Kitchen, and Master Bedroom. These are the rooms people spend the most time in, so you want to ensure that they have the absolute best first impression. The next three rooms you should consider adding to your staging list are the Dining Room, Bathroom, and Children/Guest Bedroom.

Is Staging Just Decorating?

Staging is not simply redecorating your home. Staging is a production to make your home look bigger, brighter, and fresher. Staging takes into account the size of the room by adding or removing furniture, enhancing wall space, and minimizing clutter and personal effects. The whole purpose of staging is to create “WOW” focal points in the main living areas ensuring buyers can envision themselves in that space.
