A true “mountain man,” Jake Higginbotham grew up in the beautiful state of Tennessee rock climbing, hiking, and spending most of his time enjoying the great outdoors. His taste for exploration, along with his interest in real estate, took him down the construction path traveling for work as an industrial pipe fitter/welder for over 8 years before he decided to make the jump in to real estate full-time. Jake’s interest in adventure (and Blue Ridge native, Christy Kay) brought him across the line to the mountains of North Georgia years ago, and he fell in love. He loves the mountains, the people, and the Blue Ridge way of life.
Since becoming a local, Jake has also become involved in all aspects of town. He and his fiancé, Christy, are store owners in downtown Blue Ridge, and they are active in the community. Christy even serves on the Blue Ridge City council.
Jake is excited to be doing what he loves where he loves and looks forward to putting his knowledge to work for you and welcoming you home!
