Toccoa River

Toccoa River

Beginning in the highly desirable Aska Adventure Area of Blue Ridge you’ll find the most breathtakingly beautiful Toccoa River. Flowing north towards the Tennessee State line, the 56-mile Toccoa River joins the Ocoee River in the twin cities of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee.

Popular for tubing there are several outfitters along the Toccoa that are available to provide tubes, canoes, and kayaks for an enjoyable day floating down the river. Wildlife is abundant here, making this an excellent location to kick back on the riverbank, soak in the cool mountain air, and observe nature at its finest. A favorite location for fishermen (or women), trout are abundant in this cool mountain stream. Choose to drop a line from the shore, wade into the waters, or team up with a fishing guide service and ride a drift boat down the river! The possibilities of fun are endless on the Toccoa, but when you own a riverside home, you will truly understand why this is such a special place.
